1. ILLUMINATION

In this learning phase, Epic will meet with you for a project briefing and goal assessment. We will facilitate a branding illumination workshop with you and key members of your organization — from marketing and sales, operations and manufacturing — to explore your current and future brand direction. We will conduct target audience research, market and competitor analysis, as well as a product, price place (distribution), and promotion evaluation OR a service, market, position evaluation. Our goal is to achieve complete understanding of your product or service offering, through:  

• Goal clarification
• Reviewing or establishing the product(s) or service(s) you are branding
   (and possible sub-brands)
• Discussing your potential markets and competition
• Conducting workshops or focus groups and/or target audience, market,
   competitor and product/service research

2. ENVISIONING

The envisioning stage will refine your “story,” product or service offering, unique selling propositions, features/ benefits, specific target market(s), and market position. We will facilitate an envisioning workshop with you and key members of your organization to clarify and outline your vision and explore various possible brand components. Envisioning typically includes:

• Clarifying and identifying market value propositions
• Determining what your brand will stand for (your “Brand Promise”)
• Defining  your product positioning against competitors
• Establishing the key motivators to purchase
• Presenting research findings

3. BRAND CREATION

Before introducing and announcing your brand publicly through advertising, website launch, promotions, publicity and presentations, Epic will launch your brand internally. This internal launch will garner enthusiasm so that every member of your team “buys in” to the brand promise and concept that will become a fluid theme throughout every aspect of your business and every customer experience with your brand. This will include:

• Developing your brand identity and creative direction
• Creating brand concept boards and brand signature elements
• Unveiling your product name, taglines, logo, font, design standards and color
   palette, complete with rationales
• Brand approval client signoff
• Internal brand launch presentation
